Walk Thursday 28 January 2016 : Odiaxere
Posted: Wed Jan 06, 2016 4:53 pm
Willie & Carol have discovered a new walk , generally flat, about 2 h 10m. They will be leading.
Start : 10.00 am
Degree of difficulty ( scale 1:5) : sounds like a 1?
Directions: Drive to Lagoa and turn left on the N125 until you get to Odiaxere, a village on the N125 between Portimao and Lagos, about 15 miles to the west of Carvoeiro.
Meet in the square next to the church in the centre of Odiaxere. Coming from Portimao it is on LHS, look for the orange golfe sign. There is plenty parking and cafes close by.
We have been told there is a very good Chicken Restaurant just off the square, for those looking for some apres-walk refreshment!
Usual caveats: all walks are at your own risk, and we do not walk if it is pouring with rain.....I will endeavour to put any cancellation note on this site by 0830 on the day of the walk.
Walking boots/stout trainers , walking pole(s), hats and water recommended. No charge, of course.
Please advise below if you are intending to come . As these walks were quite popular last year, we may have to limit numbers to about 20 , so it is important to say if you intend to come.
Any questions , please ask Willie or Carol or PM me or ring 282 380015 preferably between 1800-1900, but not before 18 January.
