Linda and Russell have volunteered to lead a walk from Figueras. It is mostly flat, apart from a steep climb
through the village at the start. Around 9kms - 2 hours. Meet in front of the Sports ground at Figueras at 10am.
Usual Geoff rules apply, wear suitable footwear, no charge, walk at own risk, numbers may be limited so please
let us know below if you are joining us. Directions: Follow N125 towards Lagos, pass the Alvor turning and
Penina Golf on the left. After 2kms you will see a sign on the right for Figuera, ignore the first sign and turn
immediately right at the 2nd one, after going under the bridge. The meeting point is on the left. Mobile
contact number on the day is: 0044 796 0552618. One of the cafes in the village does a very cheap menu for
anyone wishes to join us for lunch afterwards.

"Hi Geoff and Sue, You were missed again this week. But 9 of us had a very nice walk, and 7 of us had a very good lunch, thanks to Karen's recommendation of café Tic Tac, across the road. The owner also supplied us with details of a new walk, so a good day in all.
