Linda will be leading this walk which is around 10 kms approximately 2 1/2 hours. Start time: 10 am. Meeting point: Foz Do Banho restaurant, just before Caldas De Monchique
There are a few steep hills and a steep downhill section on uneven ground so bring poles if you have them. We should have some great views. This is a grade 4 walk (hard). The usual rules apply, walk at your own risk, wear suitable footwear, bring a drink and no charge.

The cafe is not open on Mondays but we can drive to Rasmalho after the walk to enjoy post walk refreshments.

Directions: From Lagoa: drive West along the N125 to the Monchique turn off at Portimao. Drive up theN266 towards Monchique for about 13kms until you see restaurant Foz Do Banho on the left side of the road, just before a roundabout. Park just below the restaurant.

A hard but very enjoyable walk today with lovely views into the hills and down to the coast. We covered the 10.8 kms in just under 3 hours. Nine of us had a very sociable lunch at the cafe in Rasmalho after the walk.
