Linda will be leading this walk which is mostly on new tracks. We head up a gradual hill and then stay at the top enjoying nice views down to the valleys below. There should be some shade from the trees but no water for the dogs. The walk is about 9kms and on good tracks. Bring a pole if you use one and wear good footwear, walk at your own risk and no charge.

Meeting point: Cafe Pasto Riba E Serra, Rasmalho. Meeting time: 9.15 am.

Directions to meeting point: Exit the N125 at Portimao following the sign to Monchique. At the roundabouts keep following the sign for Monchique. You will come onto the N266, then pass a petrol station on the left. After a km you will come into Rasmalho and the cafe is on the left hand side. Please park on the right hand side as we will car share to the start of the walk which is 3kms further along.

The cafe should be open for drinks at fhe start and end of the walk.

Please indicate below if you will be joining us. Contact number on the day is: 0044 796 0552618.

A nice small group again 8 walkers and 2 dogs. We had some shade from the trees and a slight breeze so quite a pleasant walk. We completed the walk in 2 hours and then enjoyed cool refreshments back at the cafe in Rasmalho.
