Monte-Dourado Apartments

We are visiting Carvoeiro again after several years holidaying elsewhere and have booked an apartment in the Monte-Dourado complex. I have been offered the Hibisco block with the option of the ground or first floor. Can anyone who has stayed in this block offer any advice.

Hibisco is just across from the reception. I would suggest to take the first floor, you may have a view. Some stairs, though. Monte Dourade is a great complex, very efficient and friendly staff, close the beach and centre of town and restaurants. Unless you like climbing hills you better hire a car.
