Yes great photos. In fact one took me by surprise - the one overlooking the town from the high ground, as Nigel must have been either on the plot of land next to our villa or standing in the road that runs just south of our border. I never grow tired of that view and it was nice to see it in photgraphic form.

.. oh and of course well done with the text aswell. To voluntarily produce a 2000 plus words newsround a month and keep it readable, interesting and topical ain't easy. Keep up the good work Nigel.

News thingy

Post by biffa »

Your kind words please and embarrass me no end. Every time I proof read it I think "what a load of drivel but someobody has to do it!" I apologise in advance for everything I put down on paper and if anyone has any points to make or additions please do so as need all the help I can get!!

Your comments are useful though - from them I think I have identifed Gazzas true identity and whilst my dog HAS peed up your gate post I haven't yet! By the way when were you at your place last? Lots of action at Monte Servo - its becoming a new part of town, sort of Beverley Hills!!

Biffa - Glad to hear YOU have restrained from p'eeing up my wall.Mind you would not argue with your dog judging by the photos.

We were last there in November. We have seen the alien spaceship down the road and there was the makings of a villa directly opposite. What else has happened since then?

Wife and I are grabbing a long weekend - sans enfants, in mid March, so it will be interesting to see progress.

Monte Servo

Post by biffa »

Still not too sure if I have identified your place but guess you are pretty close to the modernistic one the drive for which comes out on the "bottom" road? That villa has turned out pretty good actually despite initial fears.

If I have you correctly placed the villa opposite you close to the other recent new ones (in the "middle " bit of Monte Servo) has come on a pace. It is quite big and sort of dwarfs its smaller neighbour. Another new one is going up further towards Carvoeiro end of site.

Sorry about this chat forum users, should be done on a pm really but Gazza is logged in as a guest I think.

Until I am sure I know your place I will keep the dog on a short lead!
