Eating out
Eating out
We're looking to book a villa in Quinta do Paraiso in the summer and would welcome some advice on where to eat out and rough costs (given the rubbish exchange rate), we are new to CVO. We have 2 girls age 7 & 3 so need child friendly places, but not nuggets & chips. Playgrounds, rides etc are always useful to bribe them with good behaviour! Many thanks
Hi, the italian restaurant at QDP is good, and quite cheap and great for take=aways. You are also minutes away from Escondido, a typical portuguese restaurant with a three course meal for around 10 euros.
within walking distance you can go to Monte Carvoeiro, for pizza, and Indian and vairous other meals. It you come out of the main road at QDP and turn left, after about 5 mins you will see a turning on your left for
Vila Nova, another first rate, very reasonable restaurant, with lots of local specialities and nice things for children.

Re: Eating out
Sounds a bit like an advertisement to me.
Where ever you stay in this area bring comfortable shoes.
QDP is just a short walk from Monte Carvoeiro with a wide range of places to eat from Phoenix Nights ( very English ) to the more upmarket Elliots and Salmao by way of steak on the stone and pizza.
