Weather inearly december

I have visited the area 5 times now but they have always been in June /July or September. We are thinking of coming over from 4 to 11th December to play some golf, hopefully in the sunshine. Can anyone give an idea of what to expect temperature wise and also how much rainfall do you get at that time. We came to Ayamonte (Spain) at the end of February but it rained for the majority of the time.
