Hotel to close at Nov 2009

It would be a pity to let such an attractive building run to seed. It is in need of a paint job and some inside repairs. The (hard) tennis court is sprouting grass. The splendid parking facilities were only upgraded a few years ago.
I do hope the apartment owners are able to turn things round but I feel it is going to be an expensive job.

Was over last week and saw that he hotel is still closed.

Not sure what is happening, but at least 3 apartments were occupied during November, there was a man working at a desk near reception, and I saw a van with AlgarveSol apartments parked outside, and some cleaning work going on.

Was out last week and saw some workmen on the roof doing repairs? Some of the apartments were occupied but not much else was going on.

is there any update on the refurbishment, is it looking any better than it was?

We were walking past last weekend, just a few apartments had been painted outside , assume by the owners and there was someone working on the roof of one .
A few were occupied, very little evidence of any other work going on.
