As George & Ails are having their UK house delivered to them on Monday they have asked if I could organise a walk for Tuesday 2nd June. We will do the popular Two Rivers Walk (Ilha de Rosario).

Meet: Mia Rio Restaurant Time: 9.30am

This is a walk by the confluence of the Arade and the Odelouca around the Ilha de Rosario. There are beautiful views of the river and Silves in the distance. We will be including an uphill stretch near the start of the walk.

Directions: from CVO, cross the bridge into Silves & turn left on the N124 towards Monchique/Portimao. After a little under 5 km you will see the Mira Rio cafe & restaurant on your left after a sharpish right hand bend. Parking is at the café. You can also take the N124 from Portimao to Silves and the café is 5km on the right.

We will walk for around 2 hrs and have a beer at the Mira Rio. We will then retire to Carvoeiro for a nice lunch, somewhere to be decided!

Nine of us ventured out for this popular walk - we did the original walk on the flat and how good it was. The water sports cafe was being prepared and is opening this weekend (6th June).

The walk was about 1hr 45 mins and we finished with beers at the Mira Rio then lunch at Ponto de Encontro.
