I know that bars are not restuarants but I thought it a good place to start.
Some bars we found were great.
No order, just nice

Rascals - (I know they are closing but ambience and everything lovely)
Cheers - great coctails
Inside - hic hic hic
Hemingways - smokey but friendly
Bojangles - great as always
Jokers- good fun
The Irish bar - fab breckie and oj, daytime staff really nice and friendly hiya

The coctail bar - cannot do all the puzzles but Richard can

They are moving, end of lease, spoke to Rachel the other week when out in CVO. they are looking for somewhere else, will let us know on site where and when,

For people watching with a nice stiff cocktail

then Colombo's gets my vote although I thought the food was not as good as others have suggested

Story I heard was that the landlord did not have the necessary licence and isn't prepared to apply so they are out on the ear. Probably a load proverbial but it does appear they are closing.

I found out from someone who had met somebody, who had read that somebody else, had overheard some people, who had talked to a group, that they met somewhere else, that new absolutely nothing.

But hey, that's only the rumour I heard.

Big shame that Rascals is closing - hopefully temporarily. However, one of the attractions of this place was its location, offering great views over the beach area. I hope they manage to find another place as they deserve succes.

Hya all,
Many thanks Bojangles for asking after us. We shall be back next April/May sometime for two weeks.
Hope all is well with you all, hopefully we will do better at the quiz in the future.

Re Rascals. As mentioned by myself before, they are closing cos of end of lease. We spoke to Rachael herself to get it right for print

They have been closed for at least the last 3 weeks. One day when we passed there was a guy hammering at the door trying to deliver from a refrigerated van. Looks like it was a fast exit. Shame.

It is a shame about Rascals we only went in there a couple of times but they had furnished & decorated it really well, how sad to see all their effort go to waste.

Funny - we went for a drink on Tuesday and they were open and busy
