Coop--as the French would put it "Superbe"!
But wait ----ou est Pierre aujourd'hui--where is Pierre today :?:
Has he gone off on his holidays already?
Or is he--as a man with an air of mystery about him--hatching more little things--that I can "presume too much" on? :)
I do hope so----I like it--and Pierre-you're also helping me practise my French--I suspect you are better at it than me ---and I could do with the extra tuition
Joyeux Noel Cheri :D
P.S.Youre not heading towards--Brittany by any chance--are you?

A man once told me to "shoot first and ask questions later".
I wanted to ask him "why?", but I had to shoot him first.

Hi Coop(or should I say "The Pres!) --despite weather that was lousy most of the time--had really nice Christmas break visiting Brittany,Normandy and Picardie.
And here I feel I have to make a humble apology to our friend Pierre Lafayette and have to say that during our whole stay in France I didnt meet with one piece of arrogance
Everyone we met there was kind and helpful and except for one hotel manager who was a French "Basil Fawlty" we had a lovely time, with excellent cuisine(of course--what else?)and superb service from the young dark-eyed waiters
I saw Pierre, that you described yourself (on the Merry Christmas topic) as L'homme-embeteur! --I think --but not sure --that means you call yourself a "pest/Nuisance"--is that correct? Mais non--youre certainly not that! Id say you were more --interesting/ intrigueing than anything!
and I, for one still wonder who and where you are :?: Bon soir :)

Ellie, you always had this affect on people?

And what effect would that be Digger :?
Though must admit when I saw Pierres word 'fatale! I got a bit worried!
But one thing I can say --hes certainly not arrogant--seems he wants to play a game of 'Hide& Seek!
One things for sure --hes really helping me brush up my lazy French--i keep reaching for my huge French dictionary to make sure I get his meaning correctly-----and I wonder-- perhaps I need some private tuition :?:
Merci beaucoup Pierre et dormez bien---Ellie :)

Not wanting to throw a bucket of cold water over this on line romance Ellie but I read something the other night which brought tears to my eyes

"The cruellest thing a man can do to a woman is let her fall in love with him with no intention of being there to catch her when she does fall"

This has happened to many of us.............don't let Pierre pull on your heartstrings too much
