 Fabulous area to have a villa (well I am biased as it is near to ours!!) As redwinegirl says, you have to go through the traffic lights at the Internation Scool as you can't go across the road, down to the turning for the school (next right) and then left at the traffic lights to go back to the original traffic lights and then right, it sounds complicated but not once you have done it!!

As they say carry on this road past the turning to Vale del Rei the next bit where they say a fork is now a roundabout, so go to the right, there is then a turning about 20 yards along the road, don't know if it will be this turning you need or the next which will be about 200 yards further on. Hope you have a great holiday enjoy the area, the local beach at Albandeira is lovely as is the beach at Benagil, there are some very good restaurants in Benagil, especially the Brasserie Marina at the top of the road.

 It is about a 10 - 15 min drive to Carvoeiro but we like it as in the summer it is nice and quiet and not all touristy, we use cvo for the evenings sometimes as I love to sit outside of Colombo's bar and watch the world go by.

You will find you are nicely situated for the N125 and the shopping centre in Guia if you want! Silves which is the most beautiful town in the area, Lagos with it's lovely marina and the Monchique mountains, do travel around and see the lovely area and countryside if you get the chance. If you have children then the two water parks are both within a 10 min drive.

Enjoy..

Don't be disheartened at all. You're in a fab place. It's only a short drive to CVO and if you're worrying about nights out then it won't cost much in a taxi. When I first visited Carvoeiro I stayed in the same area and it's no problem at all. You are in a fab location for beaches, there are numerous restaurants very close to and you have the best of both worlds. Honestly you will love it. :D
