This is really hard ! (rental)

Hi , I have been looking for a villa or t3/t4 to rent for the past 3 weeks. I need a 1 year let . I have found this to be a very difficult exercise indeed.
I came over for a week over Christmas to search but didn't have much luck as most estate agents were closed for the holidays . Apart from th
at alot of the agents don't have any long lets on their books.
The idea is to rent for a year so we can find our feet and then buy a property . Can any one recommend or have any ideas ?
I am making another trip on the 27th of Jan and hope to have more luck on this trip .

Have you tried looking in The Algarve Resident? There are often long lets advertised in the classifieds.

I have found the online version shows very few ads. I guess I will get the printed version when I return on the 27th .

It might also be worth placing an ad yourself, you can do it online to appear in the printed and/or electronic edition.

Placed an ad in the Resident . I have had a few calls . I am over from Tuesday 27th to 31st so hopefully I can find some where on this trip. Thanks for your help.
