Anyone got experience with this - water or electric best?
we are about to start a build in CVO and I am interested - particulalry in running costs

We've had electric underfloor heating installed in our new build & having just come through our first winter with it think it's brilliant.

ive installed both types (in england), both are pretty good, although the water system is generally much cheaper to run, also with the water type you can run cold water through it during the warmer days which gives you a nice cool flooring surface.
electric is generally better if you are fitting to an existing premises, but for new build i would probably go with water. good luck.. :)

We had no idea what our fuel bill would be like but it wasn't bad at all, having said that our new house is very well insulated & we had a very mild winter here.
