I was running up the down escalator in the Europa Centre in Berlin and got chased by a policeman with a gun - very scary, not that I was scared of the the policeman but I thought that my mum would kill me when she found out I had been running up the down escalators

All your talk on policemen Pammie got me to remembering--that I was 'nicked' once for riding my bike without lights(well-it wasn't quite dark) --I was just 16 and very nervous at being pulled up by a 'copper'--but he was quite sweet about it--but to my shame --I gave him wrong name & address (I was more frightened of my Ma than police!)--
Wonder if they'll ever catch up with me
