OK, B1D, if you want to shout, I''l roll up my sleeves and see you outside Sullys at 9pm

Agreed, it all looks like fairly harmless boisterous fun to me.

It is no doubt harmless rowdy fun. The problem is that it is right next to the crossing and some of the older generation and families with young kids might be intimidated, especially if it is spilling out onto the street.

Having been following this thread since it started, it isn't the fights as such that concern me it's the fact that the webcam picks them up when they happen and many people back here have the webcam as their screen saver!

I have been coming out to CVO for 31 years now - (and I'm only 31 1/2!) and this is the first time that I have heard about this sort of thing happening on this scale. You are all right when you say that it happens everywhere but anything that stop people visiting CVO is not a good thing and I just hope that the GNR finally get their act together and sort it out. .... and before you say it I know that they are seriously understaffed.

I just hope that this resolves itself soon for the positive and that the the other issues going on in CVO get the backing they so sorely need from the camara and government.

I feel so much better now having got that off my chest!!! :)

The police, along with their police dogs, went to Sully's last night and told the owner to turn the music down. He refused and was apparently apprehended. No drugs were found by the dogs as the ones selling them got wind of the police arriving and made a hasty exit!! Maybe things will change now the police are on the case.

Im probably going to sound really stupid now, but what does apprehended mean?

Is the music really that loud then? Why would he refuse to turn it down.. spose at the end of the day, its his pub.. and his customers obviously like it.

Well yeah, maybe things will change from now on, as the police are obviously on look out

He must be a bit thick in the head to get himself apprehended. Why not just turn it down when asked and then turn it back up again when they've gone? Perhaps he just wanted the publicity!

I think it's time to give Sully's a rest now, let them get on with it, nothing's happened there that hasn't happened in many of the other bars. Give it a rest it's becoming boring and no one takes any notice of half a dozen people complaining on a website.

Don't like it don't go, it's as simple as that.
