Julie, just check out the FAQ section and browse through the General Carvoeiro Index, it may be a bit time consuming, but you'll find lots of interesting topics in regards to your inquiry. You will also get to know soem of our more colourful members that way.
The daily market, is located off the road (Rua do Farol) from Colina Village turn right by the Restaurant "Laterna Velha".
Enjoy this site/forum and have a great holiday!

Get a bus or drive into Lagoa to use the fresh produce market , a lot cheaper , and even with the cost of transport you will still find its cheaper !! In CVO the put the prices up for the tourists , I know I used to shop there , I loved walking there with my little basket , very native , until I went to Lagoa and realsies the price difference. :? :P

Maybe Julie doesn't know about e-mail etiquette

Julie, you may or may not know that e-mails in capitals are classed as shouting. Now there are some young ones among us :) who do not need to be shouted at and others who do. Once you find out who the oldies are feel free to shout at them

Hello White Rabbit 2

Is this because you rate Modelo as being good value too. We shall be out in September and after a few years of visiting we have found a few places but always happy to find new and good value places.

Thanks in advance
