New restaurants please.....
We like Casa do bife, Maximes, O Cantinho, XicoZi, Chef Antonio, Colombo's, Brasserie Marina, Casa velha do Pescador, O Litoral, Rouxinol and are looking to try Colina village and La Bella Vita.
Can anyone recommend any other? we like good quality restaurants, not too expensive with nice decor. Would be interested in any other suggestions from those in the know.....

It's a good location, especially for lunch, but seems to lack something at night, but they do a mega kebab.mansie wrote:Our favourite is Tia Ilda - we could happily eat here every night! The setting/view is lovely too! It doesn't really seem to get nuch of a mention on the forum - I've often wondered why?
The waiter always looks lagubrious as he punches your order into his mini computer.
Id put Tia Ilda in the 2nd tier of Carvoeiro restaurants.
As for Elle & Ella, still very good. Still the best place for that special meal in the village. Far better than the overated L'Orange, but have discovered better places out of town.
