native american indians
native american indians
Not sure if I have the correct forum cos I'm new to this but here goes. I usually holiday in Carvoeiro every year and each time I've been when I visit Albufeira or Portimao there are some Native American Indian singers who sing in the square. Does anyone know what their name is please? Thanks
I don't know their name but I've been told by the locals around the old square in Albufeira that these people are about as native american as Abba, I don't know about that but I do wish they'd shut the hell up! It used to be whenever we went to Kingston or Guildford all you could here were bloody pan pipes & now it's getting that way over here. They're not even playing them live, it's all recorded & you can't hear yourself drink for the racket. Don't get me wrong I used to quite like the occasional sound of the pan pipe it can be very pretty, but this is like aversion therapy.

They have even been to Lincoln! If it wasn't them it was someone exactly like them. I hate their bloody pan pipes. They get on my nerves and it is amazing how many good tunes they can ruin.
They are particularly bad in Albufeira in the square. Sitting down to a nice relaxing drink or meal is impossible with them pounding away. And if it's not them then it's the equally annoying guitarist, plucking away aided by a 'Live Aid' speaker system.

I have to agree here, last time Gary and I were out in CVO (Sept) we were put off going for a lunchtime drink in the square because of it. Actually they were quite loud. Sorry to be a party pooper, as I love live music, but it can get annoying for those who are regulars in CVO and have to listen day in and day out. It is a world dominations tac I'm sure

Course they're not bleedin' red indians I know all about red indians, they light a fire and run round it going woop, woop. Did none of you go to B films on saturday morning?
Lone Ranger and Tonto road into town in winter. Lone Ranger said " I'm off for a drink, you stay and look after the horses." "Its damn cold Kemosabi" said Tonto. "Well jump up and down then" said LR. A few minutes later a cowboy walked into the bar and said " Has anybody here got a white horse?" " Yeh, what of it" said LR. "Oh nothing" Said the cowboy, " It's Just you've left your injin running"

Not north american, native american, south american in this instance.
And floyd I did watch those films & these aren't injuns like that, though the ones in Lagos did pitch a teepee in the square & dance round it, but it was only about 3' tall, more like a doll's teepee, unless it was like the tardis inside.
What's the difference between a bison & a buffalo?
You can't wash your hands in a buffalo.
Sorry.
