buying furniture in Portugal

Does anybody have any recommendations for buying furniture in Portugal? In particular we are after single beds (& mattresses) and have found the shops local to CVA quite expensive. We are considering purchasing in England and having furniture shipped over. Any advice would be greatfully appreciated.

You can buy single beds for a reasonable price in Conforama in Algarve Shopping.

If you don't mind second hand ones, then go to Alex Decor on the N125 Porches by the wine shop. I was looking for furniture to put in our house and they have done us proud, beds, matresses, lounge furniture and dining room stuff, very nice people and very helpfull, can't recomend them enough.

One of the best places to go is olhão, the road from faro to olhão there is "planty" places to see.
And in Lisbon in rua in Av. Almirante Reis

I see you can get single beds in conforama, what about double/king size. Are the prices good? what is the quality like? Any ideas if they keep a good stock or are delivery times an issue? Any assistance greatly received.

Ikea is either open now in Lisbon, or possibly next month. We had a lovely time going round the one in Croydon (?) picking out stuff in advance for our house. Very much in advance actually.
