Thanks everyone. Unfortunately the op has been postponed for two weeks -they had a lot of emergency admissions which meant there were no intensive care beds available for me.
I have to phone again this week, and if all goes to plan surgery should be the following week
Will keep you posted!

Oh no, that must have been disappointing, you get yourself all geared up to go in and get it over and done with and then they postpone it
Hope you are not in too much pain at the mo, keep your spirits up and look forward to it happening soon

Ktee - wish you a sucessful operation and a speedy recovery. Enjoyed meetiang you and Nick a couple of times at "meet-ups" at algar Seco a few years ago.

Karen, that is really too bad, especially since you haven't been well for close to a year now. Keep on trucking, and good luck for the new year.
