We would like to go to Seville for a couple of days when we are at RM in March. Does anybody know if there is a train service from Faro. If not how long will it take to drive there. Thanks

Unfortunatly there is no train from the Algarve to Seville, theres a coach from Lagoa to seville with about 5 or 6 stops on the way which takes about 5 hours!,to drive there takes about 2 hours.

As far as I am aware everything goes via Lisbon.

The rail link along the coastal towns stops at Vila Real de Santo Antonio but it's a great trip and you can get the ferry across to Ayamonte in Spain.

Bit late this but anyway....once in Ayamonte, it's about a mile walk to the bus station where you can get a bus on to Seville, they're fairly frequent.
