yes while we are on the subject..i hope you have noticed that the portuguese are great at copycat drinks..lidl sell an excellent "baileys" at a third of the price....for contreau buy their "triple sec" slightly lower proof but at a third of the price ...i can live with it the lower inkerhol...and there are more examples..just look....
Guest, try getting the cheap "bailys" to float on top of tia maria in a"baby guinness"then come back and tell me all about it,i,m in this game 30yrs and belive me most of the time you get what you pay for.
Gerry..Ive got headache this morning...and reading the above has made me feel decidely worse!
Whats a baby Guiness for goodness sake? Is it what I have....a drop in a small glass
Now going in search of the paracetamol
a baby guiness is a shot of tia maria with a "head" of baileys. Tastes like choclate and goes down real easy...way too easy actually. They set u back about a fiver in Ireland (In new fangled yo-yo currency), you can drink about 6 before u feel any effects and the next morning ur tongue is coated in an unpleasant creamy substance...while the publican is chuckling behind his money pile.
a butterball on the other hand (baileys with a drop of toffee liquor) is delightful!
well guesty...I dont fancy the 'morning after furry/creamy tongue'...oh dear ...but Im rather partial to the taste of toffee..toffee liqueur? Thats a new one on me...but then ..I dont have much experience in the drinks department........thank-you
