Dress to Impress

Post by tricky »

For the next couple of weeks, can anyone who walks in front of the Webcam in the square, please wear correct attire for the weather :D
This will help me considerably to know what to pack for our holiday on 31st March, so if its swimming pool/sea hot, please wear swimwear.
sitting on the beach but not going in the water weather please wear shorts/T shirts.
You get the picture!

Thanks for your co-operation

Funny you should say that!

I mentioned to my Dad last night that there was a webcam in Carvoeiro and got a phone call this morning from him telling me he was by the pedestrian crossing and could I see him.

He couldn't figure out where the webcam was so there's loads of pics of him looking in various directions and on the phone to me (feeling very jealous).

I nearly fell off my chair I was laughing so much.

I even have a pic where his car makes an appearance.

Same here. Sooooo windy it's ridiculous.
My colleague told me she saw a guy wrapped round a lampost hanging on for dear life.

Oh well.... I'll be in sunny Carvoeiro in 49 days....... :D Not that I'm excited or anything!!

. . . and here, Mike and we are off to France on a booze run by ferry later tonight and they are giving "gale 8 rising to storm 10" - what a joy that should be  (using 'jealous' for 'feeling sick'). Anyway fingers crossed we make it back on sunday :?

Yes, its very windy in Cheshire. In fact I've just found the head of a plastic knome in my drive - Honestly, Honestly, I've never owned a knome (that rhymes)
So if anyone on the forum has a headless knome, I've got it!
or if they've got a spare body, I'll have that too :D

Howling gales/rain here in Bucks too - what would we do without the forum to play around on !?

Forecast for cvo for next week looks good - no rain and just some cloud cover at night - we've got to wait a couple more weeks 'til April so lets hope it stays good.

Ooops - sun has just briefly come out - that'll teach me !

You think you've got problems. I arrived home and found a man's shirt with a snapped peg attached to the base in our back garden. Now I can either wait until someone comes looking for it or else I've got to go knocking on folks' doors trying to find the owner.
Someone obviously hadn't seen the weather forecast

It’s a bit windy here in Lisboa at mo, and I just love to look out from my office here on the third floor at the eucalyptus trees below and see how they can dance under a clear blue sky.
