Someone mentioned to me that it was now possible within the EU to bring a car over from England and have the MOT done in Portugal.
Apparently there is a garage which does it in Faro.
Does anyone know if this is possible?
I am planning to move over next year and I'm trying to get as much info as possible on the logistics of doing so.
Are there any good used car places that anyone would recommend or are they much the same? (obviously depending on the make). We have been debating whether to get one before or after we make the move as well as buy new/buy used etc.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks
Could be wrong but the last person bringing in a car was talking about a 1978 merc or somesuch in which case its worth the hassle otherwise it seems sell in uk and buy in cvo,
ps wasn,t the rugby over the weekend just so good.
Yes Gerry!
and particularly exciting game between Ireland & Scotland..well done to the boys in green on the 'Triple Crown'!
Commiserations to England...but French deserved their win..congrats to them too
re buying a buying a car...my advice...always buy new here...many cars have had accidents and you dont know what your buying....also always buy a car with a multiple dealer service facilty....eg renault...so if you dont like one garage you can go to another....i once bought a honda and was stuck with only the one garage to service and every time it was serviced about two weeks later it had to go back for a something that had gone wrong!!!funny that ...but i had no choice
renault in silves are good as are the rover garage (service is in lagoa)
vw are a stand alone dealer...no choice but to go there..buy rover...support british industry..they are good cars and the servicing whether in faro or lagoa is good
