Mike - has to be a win for the Addicks. Thier tails should be up following the win over the excellent red scousers last Monday.Uefa qualification is still on the agenda if they keep their cool and improve the home record on the run in.

Hi Gazza, sorry for the delay, rubbish game Saturday! Anyway back to Canerios, take the road to Sesmiras and when you get to the roundabout by the water tower turn left or straight on depending which way you came from (prob left). It's almost certainly marked Ferragudo, go past Rosas bar on the right and keep going until you pass Colina de Lapa and then turn left at the roundabout there. Carry straight on for about 1.5 miles until you reach a steep hill that goes down and up the otherside. At the bottom of the downside there's a left hand turn which leads to Canerios (about 250 yards) Hope this helps. The next beach along is Pintadinho which can be reached by going up the hill towards Ferragudo still and after about 1/4 mile you will see a left hand turn marked pria pintadinho and also the turn for a hotel (can't remember the name of it). This leads to the beach and also a cliff top car park with some great views over Portimao, the harbour and right down the coast going west. If you ignor this turning then the road continues towards Ferragudo and then watch out for another hill going down and at the bottom do a quick left, then quick right and qick left again and go up the hill towards the beach at Pria Grande, very good walking beach and the old building behind the beach (looks like an old castle or fortress) is well worth a look. Perhaps someone can remind me of the history of this building. All the beaches have beach bars. On the way back try Rosas at about 12.30 for a beer (cheapest beer around) and mix with the locals having their lunch break. Great people.

Thanks very much indeed for this. We will certainly take a drive there when we are back in CVO in late May. I think read somewhere on here that you are not able to make the bash at the Anteak in May? Are you planning a visit in July / August ?

Not a great result and I gather a rather poor game. I noted on Sunday that Charlton's away record this season is only surpassed by Chelsea!! Shame that the home results have not come to scratch.

Me again, logged in. No the game was the worst I've seen for a very long time. The only highlight being when Robbie Savage was putting it about and numerous fans shouting p*** off Lilly!
