Dear all,

Thank you to you all.

You were stars!

My real name is not Mike, but actually Jonathan Cattell (hope you understand the reason for the deceit!!!).

On 11 August, I proposed to Lisa Mitchell in Rei das Praias and she said yes.

We are now now utterly blissed and very much engaged. The day began with a healthy breakfast and flowers, continued with alba suites treatments then ice cream. Even before I proposed, she said it had been the best day of her life.

Thanks to all of you who helped and guided!

Jonathan (aka Mike Dees)

Very well done you two, apart from the big question, how did the rest of the holiday go? A restaurant report would be good as well

Congratulations. Glad all went well. Are you going to get married in Portugal as well.
We got our wedding rings in CVO after our first holiday spent there.

I am just so pleased that it all went so well and a huge congratulations to you both, I hope that your lives will be wonderfully happy together and that you will always keep the whole build up and the deed in your memories for ever, what a lovely story to be able to tell your family..... (a little ahead of myself there )

If pickwick would like to pm me and let me know who he/she is I will gladly buy them a drink for their help in all of this. We are out in gloriously hot and sunny Portugal at the moment.

Again congratulations to you both....

Congratulations. My husband brought you back from the restaurant in his taxi & texted me to let me know!! I'd previously told him about your plans. Glad it all went well.
