Try the refurbished Pinge Doce in Lagoa, their own brands are v good value plus you can find many familiar branded goods if you must have them.

I think that you will find that Intermarche prices will be pretty competitive now the season is coming to an end.

Speaking of Intermarche, does anyone know when the new store in Portimao is due to open? A couple of weeks ago it looked not too far off apart from the car parks.

It will also be interesting to compare prices with the Carvoeiro store, bearing in mind that the new store in Portimao is right next door to E Leclerc!

We have just had breakfast outside temp in mid 20,s.

Ref Intermarche to be honest we have not seen any seasonal differences but then we only use it if we can,t get what we need elsewhere.

Re DaveK's comment regarding E'leclerc Supermarket, I think you will find that there is a tie up between them and Intermarche, The same Group I think!!

I use the Continente supermarket at Guia, I also like the Pao de Acucar supermarket in Lagoa, just off the new round about used to be called Modelo, their fish counter is usually very good.
