MEDITTERANEAN PLANTS SALE

There is a plant show and sale at QUINTA FONTE DO BISPO east of Santa Catarina on E270 towards Tavira - on Nov 7th - 11-3 pm. The show is put on by the MEDITERRANEAN GARDEN SOCIETY, from small and specialist Nurseries who specialise in plants for dry areas - there is even a "swop" stall for seeds and plants at the MGS booth. maccasa - thanks for the information - will definitely follow it up as hopefully across the winter some order will start to be brought to my slightly wild garden ready for some new planting.

We wen to the sale and it was most impressive - all sorts of "dry" plants to buy- and to swop - we bought a large (1.5m high) phoenix type palm and an oleander (1m high) for €8.
