Primavera update required

Recent other forums have suggested problems at Primavera,which has caused some upset with my father-in-law, a CVO regular and whose favourite restaurant is Primavera.

When I mentioned these entries, he admits that you sometimes have to wait a while for the food but he insists it's worth waiting for.

Can anyone please share their recent experiences or news of this restaurant

This was always one of our favourites then all of a sudden this year, the service seemed to slow down dramatically. Having visited several time earlier in the year, and we've being going for years, the start of this summer when we sat down we were told that they won't service the normal covers, so the night we decided to have just a maincourse, and taking my brother and girlfriend for a meal in our favourite restaurant had to wait well over an hour!!! my meal was too salty and when I mentioned this to the staff I got a shrug of the shoulders and told well we try our best

we had a nice meal in the gaden bit last week, my Husband says he prefers the main Restaurant, but having me and 3 girls we usually win...must admit it did look empty in the main bit

Updated report from last week by my father-in-law (previously a staunch supporter of this restaurant) . Food poor, service worse - almost as bad as Bon Bon the previous night !

My wife and visited Prima Vera last Friday night ,the 16th October for out lovely meal.We were advised by Christina that Sunday was the last supper as she has sold the business to next door,Villamedici .They have bought a new location near Sesmeraisas and won,t be opening until April .

Do we know yet where and what their new venture is ?

I think they will do something completely different, very simple food like grilled chicken .... that´s what somebody told me

I wonder if they have bought the Boavista Bar premises which have had a 'For Sale' sign up for years.

A number of cars and a builders' truck there almost every day
