I belive the best screen I have seen in Carvoeiro is at Vale De Milho Golf Club, 1.5 x 1.5 of crystal clear image, and cheeper bar prices then most carvoeiro bars.

Is the Jailhouse showing the football? We were in there when Beckham scored his now famous qualifying goal against Greece for World Cup and the place erupted :P

We were in CVO during the last World Cup (remember the 7.30 kick-offs?) Most bars opened early for the football - you won't miss anything - even better than watching it at home!

Unfortunately Wales won't be in Portugal as they lost their appeal today - we lived in hope but didn't really expect any favours from UEFA.

Regards to all in CVO.

As all will be really going into 'footie mode' now....just a little point of interest.
Eldest son was involved with security at a quite recent event. The 100th anniversary of FIFA..held at the The National History museum,Kensington,London.
Some he 'rubbed shoulders' with were:
Pele...George Best...Franz Beckenbaur...Rhonoldino...Rue Costa..Alan Ball..David Ginola..Gary Linecker..Patrick Veira..Robert Pires..David Trezuget..and for his dad..he received a signed photo of the Black Panther....the great:
EUSEBIO !
Good luck to England and Portugal...but Ive a strong feeling..its gonna be France!... :)

Hello, I am an owner in Carvoeiro trying to get two tickets for the Faro/Loule euro championship game on the 26th June. Am willing to pay up to £ 85.00 ( 125 euros ) for a ticket. Please, please can anyone help. Tickets for Lisbon on the 25th would be nice also!!

We're restricted on dates of holiday this year and the only chance we can get to Carvoeiro is end of June which unfortunately co-incides with the football. We have children who do like football but concerned that the village might be full of football supporters instead of the usual mix of couples and families. Is there anyone who can reassure us that hopefully Carvoeiro will still be a welcoming place for families.
Many thanks 8)
