We went to this newly renovated bar [used to be anteak bar] on opening night and had a lovely time, very nicely decorated and would suggest you all give it a go. It is run by Robert and Ida Harris

on the "out road" past Taste and about 3/4's of the way up on the left hand side next to a coffee bar, plenty of parking right outside. I think they will be doing quiz nights etc.
