I had a meal here last year with my two sisters - we all love sea-bass - the fish we were given was not sea-bass - we asked Carla if there had been a mistake with the fish but she insisted it was sea-bass - believe me we know the difference. I then gave the restaurant a second chance this year but again it was a disappointment maybe it's frozen fish!

We ate there twice in early July and both times the meal, service and overall experience was great.

We are out again from 21st Sept for a week and am already looking forward to eating there again

Just back from a week in Carvoeiro and had one night at A Gale (very busy!) had a really great meal and the service was great! Can anyone let me know if they are open all year as back in november? Also Jota Lita? Thanks

A Gale' are open all winter, and just as busy as they have a lot of winter regulars. Owners like us, and alot of golf parties.

Had a meal in O Gale last night for the first time and will most definately be going again.
Our last visit to Carvoeiro we passed, but it was full, which is always a good sign especially as it was off season.
Good service with happy atmosphere!!

Does anyone no if Carla has had the Baby yet, when there in Feb, we saw her quickly and she said she was due next month?

We saw her Monday.......she is very well, but now very pregnant!! Like a little ball
The baby is a boy, and due in about 3 weeks
