Moroccan Furnishings

Hi All
We wish to bring a Moroccan theme to our villa, we seek help in pointing us in the right direction regarding all furnishings especially small tables and light fittings.

Hi There is a shop in Algarve shopping centre, never can remember the name but its logo is a cat. Its on the ground floor and has lots of interesting bits, eastern style curtains and voile, cushions, lamps,rugs, candles etc.

Hi Rustynail, we have quite a sizeable Moroccan style light fitting dangling on a 10ft chain in our hallway. Not my cup of tea, but you're welcome to it if it goes with your theme?

Why not drive to Tarifa (about 3.5 hours) - take the ferry €30 or tour €60 including tour and lunch to Tangiers - buy all your Moroccan furnishings at half the price here and then bring them back in the car or have them delivered here.
The delivery system may sound a bit chancy but we have had no problems plus if you pay by credit card you have the security of their guarantee.

Thanks everybody for your time, we have bought at the shop in the Algarve Shopping Centre lots of really nice stuff, we are all ground level so cannot use your kind offer Matryx.We were planning to travel to Tafira and take the ferry but unsure Roy4eyes about parking etc,. should I raise as new topic or do you have more info?

Is it really only 3.5 hours to Tarifa? I would have thought 5 - 6 hours!

We make a mini holiday of it staying at the hotel Meson de Sancho (see review in Tripadvisor) which can organise trips/tours of Morocco including coach from the front door at no extra cost.
Yes it is only 3.5 to 4 hours using the new autostrada from Jerez to Algeciras from where turning left goes to Malaga and Gibraltar and right goes to Cadiz with the hotel and Tarifa about 10 kms distance.
