My recommendation would be to go to Tropical Bar near Rocha Brava - Helder has installed new tv system this year and had the bar fitted out and decorated. Good prices for drinks and snacks too. Dave.

Carvoeiro is always full of football supporters, but most of them will only show their colours at game time (with the exception of those saddos that go to the beach and lie in the blazing sun in their ManU Beckham shirts  )
That is why you can watch footie in so many bars - everything from national league, premier league. FA cup, UEFA Cup, Champions league, world cups, euro cups, etc, etc, etc.

Don't worry though, you wont find football crowds raging in the streets and at game time you have so much choice of venues it wont be hard to find a quiet bar where you can watch the footie without getting covered in beer and pretzels.

We are assuming - and hoping - that the majority of football supporters staying on the Algarve will be staying where there are plenty of bars, nightclubs etc such as Albufeira.

Hopefully the football supporters that visit and stay in Carvoeiro will be with their families and are there to enjoy the usual delights of the village as well as the football.
