NIGELV

Flying

Post by NIGELV »

I have recently flown with Roy and had a wonderfull time seeing algarve from above. I can recommend an excursion with him anytime! If you,ve never been up in a light aircraft before then nows the time to do it! I can certainly understand the addiction with flying, so why not contact Roy today!!!

Air-brained

Well I guess we all know now which is cowboy's favorite air-liner.
Suggestion cowboy -- why not change your forum name to Texas Connie and you could keep them guessing on the "which sex?" link for ages !!
I agree on prop planes but surely the D.H.Comet is the best of all.

Hi gert-rude. Yes I know Nigely as a result of my wife (oh damn you now know that I am male or aaa - ref. which sex? ) attending his art classes which must be good as I can actually now recognise what she is painting !! This was his first flight in a light aircraft and he was very brave and actually opened his eyes after the first five minutes !!!! - decided it was pretty good after all and stayed with me for 45 minutes until the end of the flight -- possibly because he had no parachute !!!!!

Roy..this brings to mind one of my son's wedding gifts from a good friend(about 6 years ago now)...and that was a flight in light aircraft for himself & new wife.
They were very excited but also quite nervous!
I cant remember type of plane..seated 4..(pilot had his wife along as she was training to fly)...
They flew from Southend to Ostend,Belgium...really enjoyed it....nice,unusual gift :)
I had flight in one over London once.....spectacular..but I was teenager then..dont know whether Id be so 'daring' now  !
