Perect day in Carvoeiro.
Perect day in Carvoeiro.
If you had 24 hours in Carvoeiro, what would be the perfect way to spend it? Tell me, I'm intrigued.

I'd spend the first however many hours needed at an Internet cafe or travel agent ensuring that I delay my flight home.dj sull wrote:If you had 24 hours in Carvoeiro,.

Stroll around town, stopping for lunch at Irish Times. Back to villa for Siesta. Into pool around 5pm for few hours, then get dolled up and head out for pizza and ice cold beer. Gradual pub crawl, finishing up at Jailhouse for a laugh and a sing-song. At least that's what I'll do this Saturday

Re: Perect day in Carvoeiro.
My perfect day would be to take a taxi into Lagoa and meet up with old Portuguese friends....like Maria in the cafe. I would have a cheese & tomato toasty and chat with her and her brother (they owned the supermarket when we lived in Lagoa)....
then Id take a stroll up to the large main church and sit in the little park there under the Jacaranda trees and re-live memories of old times...then maybe take a look in the library near the church...and then visit my old friend Cristabel's grave and lay some flowers there.
Then come back to Carvoeiro and have some lovely lunch at Colombos
Hope its not long before I can do that
boa noite todos
xx

Normally arrive at around 19:00 open fridge get a cold beer down that in about 5 secs. Stroll up to The indiano on the hill order one large cold beer down that in 10 secs, have a hot curry plus more beers. Go back into town and get loaded. If Im a really good mood may even take Gaynor along with me
Next day open fridge 09:00 and drink a gallon of fruit juice and say something like never again
Deep Joy

Well, if I knew that you were there, I would avoid being anywhere next to a road just in case you decided to get p!$$ed and drovedj sull wrote:If you had 24 hours in Carvoeiro, what would be the perfect way to spend it? Tell me, I'm intrigued.
