I have emailed my dad the post, he lives near Messines on a farm and hopefully he will call Carlos...... that's if he hasn't already found a home though?

Still no firm offer of a home yet but for one promising PM stating they were actively looking.
Here with another pic of Emma that I failed to achieve on the original post.

Well Ditzy!, ain't that something, I never cease to be amazed by modern technology, why didn't Harlequin post the picture that way in the first place? Shanagarry wouldn't be shouting at me if she had.

It's obviously a very good water dog, it's already caught a duck.

Just contacted Carlos and indeed the puppy has now been homed.
Many thanks indeed for anyone who spread the word on this. Good end to the story at least for one pup in the Algarve.

There is a Portuguese waterdog breeder in Lagos. Exit A22 at jct' 1 follow duel carriage way towards Lagos just before 2nd RAB (I think) breeders on righthand side, picture of Waterdog on side of house & usually a few running around the garden.
Do visit the dog sanctuaries first though, there are so many puppies that are desperate for good, loving homes.
We adopted a Portugues roofdog 18 months ago, Loule Lil' (Lulu for short) she's gorgeous, even though she presented us with 4 puppies 3 weeks after adopting her.

Blue; We have spoken to a few of the sanctuaries and come May/June when we move permanently - we are hopeful we can rescue a dog - preferably a PWD.

We will be in town in 2 weeks time and will take a trip to Lagos to see if we can find the breeder you have suggested.

Hi shanagarry - did you manage to get a PWD from a rescue centre? We are looking for a dog and a PWD is high on the list so would really appreciate to know your experiences so far - thanks.
