Chimney style BBQ

Post by Carol »

I'd like to build a portuguese style bbq in my garden but none of the garden centres I've been to seem to stock the chimney style bbqs that you see in all the villas in portugal. Do you know if anyone is exporting them to the UK or Ireland.

I think these bbqs are all hand built on site and are not an ' add on package' as such that is fitted into place. Some DIY shops do stock free standing chimineras in both cast iron and clay but my experience of these is that they are far roo hot.
It is easy to get the metal racks and internal fire bricks, then the fun will start building up the chimney - pethaps you need the help of Fred Dibnah

You'll find them advertised here by the importer but you'll need to call them to find your nearest stockist.

Thank you all so much for taking the time out to reply to my quest for A portuguese bbq. I've located a couple of UK sources and hopefully I'll be grilling up a storm before too long.
Regards,
Carol.
