Restaurants with a sea view

Can anyone recommend a nice restaurant with a sea view, have been to O'Boteco but was not impressed. Anything up towards Rocha Brava?

Hi Peter

There is nothing nicer than enjoying a good meal and glass of wine overlooking the sea is there?
I would recommend the beach restaurant at Canieros beach (towards Ferragudo) Its lovely in the evening, but it is best to book.
Also, if you are out and about there are some nice restaurants on the beach at Alvor.

It has got to be a beach bar/restaurant really hasn't it?

The only real sea view restaurants I can recall are at Armação de Pera, Olhos de Agua, Praia da Rocha, Albufeira fishermans beach etc.

Closer to home? Try the beach restaurant at Pintadinho beach on coast road from Carvoeiro/Sesmarias to Ferragudo

I would not like to recommend the one in Olhos de Agua. Bad food, bad everything, but the seaview is great.

Try this one, a little east of Rocha Brava in Benagil. Good view from the patio plus great food & ambience.

How about the one @ Caneiros beach? With luis, Jose working there? Nice food.

I was in Porches last week and ate at a nice restaurant with a view of the sea and chapel at Senhora da Rocha called El Gomes. Turn off at the Marrachino supermarket. A good menu, very good service, a nice evening.

Hi Karen, we will staying in between Armacao and Porches, thanks for the recommendation. Will write that name down? Did you like the area of Porches? Are there a few restaurants/bars there? Sorry for all the questions!
