Agua Hotels Vale da Lapa
Agua Hotels Vale da Lapa
I booked to come and try this place last year but then the evil ash cloud descended and I gave it a miss. I still fitted a couple of weeks in at Carvoeiro during August staying somewhere else. Well I've decided I deserve a quick week away in May and have decided to book it again and see what it's got to offer. I've read a few different reports with varying opinions but I never give these too much credibility. I know it's a bit out of town but I have a car (Auto Seasons - always excellent), I know the indoor pool isn't open yet but it all looks to be a good standard from their website. So I'll let you know what I think if anyone is interested after 14th May. Looking forward to it! If anyone has been then I'd be keen to hear from you.

We took a drive through the grounds last month and it does look really nice. Not a lot of people staying there. Please let us know how it is.

Looks very expensive , but it's only just around the corner from Rosa's bar where you will find the cheapest drinks around ( and Forum mermbers are supposed to meet on a saturday morning) .
It's also within walking distasnce ( just ) of Orange and Villa Nova restaurants...and the Sesmarias ones...and the new chicken place at : viewtopic.php?f=22&t=20581

Geoff, why do people call the Sesmarias bar... Rosa's ? The name on the sign is Sesmarias Bar. Does Rosa own it?Geoff wrote:Looks very expensive , but it's only just around the corner from Rosa's bar where you will find the cheapest drinks around ( and Forum mermbers are supposed to meet on a saturday morning) .
