Otters are a rare protected species and are harmless. Beavers are everywhere and can sometimes give you a nasty rash if you get too close to them

Otters eat fish. Beavers, if not regularly groomed, can smell like fish.

Yes your'e right. I always thought a beaver was a little furry animal that sat on your face and ate your tongue

Never thought of that - just assumed. Heini sounds sort of masculine to me. Not beaver like at all.

I haven't had any e mails about beavers but in answer to your question when we were last in CVO and visited Silves we were on the old roman bridge looking into the river when to our delight we saw a beaver in the river just swimming about minding his own business and doing what beavers do............... will be looking for him again when we hopefully go again in September

So you saw a beaver swimming in the river at Silves Litttlelegs?
Of course you realise now that therell probably be a stampede to see this "rare sighting" :P
and you said"doing what beavers do" :?
Ive never seen one in the wild..so do tell us please..what do they do?
and how d'you know he was a "he" ? :lol: :wink:
