A bit more upmarket recommendation please.
A bit more upmarket recommendation please.
Hi, We've been to CVO lots of times over the past years and normally eat in restaurants down the main street (Jota Lita, Casa Algarvia etc.)
This year when we're out there, it's my Mother in Law's birthday, and we'd like to take some where a bit more 'upmarket'.
Any recommendations?
Thanks,
Nick

La Bella Vista, on the Clube Atlantico is my favourite, sophisticated! and a great place to impress a judyncook wrote:Hi, We've been to CVO lots of times over the past years and normally eat in restaurants down the main street (Jota Lita, Casa Algarvia etc.)

Agree that Bella Vista gives that feel compared to your other mentions.
My suggestion would be O Barradas for a Portugese up market experience.
See Restaurant Map for location and phone number

Add Pimenta Preta to that list, we're going there on Saturday

Re: A bit more upmarket recommendation please.
We had a great meal at Onze yesterday lunchtime, so that would be a good choice if staying in the village.

Onze, Maximes, Villa Nova - all different but all offer something different to the usual fayre

You will not go wrong with La Bella Vita at Club Atlantico.

My top pics would be Chrissy's in Lagoa OR Pimenta Preta (Sp!) on road to Rocha Brava at Palm Gardens Resort. Both over the top and wonderful.

O'Barradas..Old Silves road from Lagoa. Top class Portuguese. Our current favourite.
