Licy, 4 of us , 2 had starter, all had mains :) 2 had sweet, 2 bottles of wine, 1 bottle of water, no teas/coffee that I recall, staff were attentive, not over fussy, just after we sat down a lady came and welcomed us to the restaurant, possibly the owner, because she also shook our hands on the way out. chef came to our table and enquired about the meal. the sweet was huge and the staff brought extra spoons etc so the other two could also tuck in. meal came to around €120 before tip.
it's not like Happys where you go every trip (meal for 6 with everything under €100 and good craic with it) but a little bit different and we certainly hope to return next year. parking is scarce though and we just pulled up tight to the ditch on the right hand side just past the restaurant. Sorry, don't know about NYE.

your villa looks smashing.

Did you go up the little cul de sac? I am hoping that the windows and doors are going in this week. They started internal painting yesterday and all the floor tiles inside are down as well as the wood part to the stair case. Think the bathrooms are going to be installed next week. Its so frustrating not seeing it for ourselves. We had a problem with the outside tiles, but hopefully the new ones will be delivered next Tues/Wednesday so they can do the front terraces either side of the house. They are where those huge front walls/zig zag walls are. Do give me an up-date if you have one or are you back home now?
