... Did you all know you are supposed to be carrying ID as a passenger?

I don't think this is just because you are a "passenger".

Portugal does have some obscure law about everyone needing to carry ID cards whatever, wherever.

My point was that they were all taking about drivers needing ID but no-one had mentioned the passengers!

However as you have confirmed everyone should be carrying ID then that covers the point!
