Boarding Kennels

Does anyone know of a good boarding kennel for dogs in or around Carvoeiro/Lagoa/Portimao. We are going to need reasonably frequent minding of our labrador when we return to UK for weekends and longer.

The one we use is called Animal Inn and it is in Guia. It is run by Diane who is a former vets nurse. She likes you to take your dog to see if he or she is friendly and gets on with other dogs as they do not have individual runs. All the dogs run free, they have massess of land which is totally fenced off, and they all sleep together in a conservatory specially built for them. PM me and I will give you the number. it is the place where we took our dog and the cats ( kept in separate runs away from the dogs) and Pippa ( dog) was very happy there, running with her friends.
