Lost Three Legged Cat - Please Help Us

Post by SharonODubai »

Hi,

I am not sure if this is in the correct category but we have lost our cat. We are really worried about him as we have only just moved to Carvoeiro and I dont think he knows the area very well.

He is mainly white with tabby ears and tail and some other tabby patches, he has green eyes and it missing one of his front legs. He was wearing a blue collar and a flea collar when he went missing. He does have a chip but it is not registered to our new address yet.

We last saw him on Thursday 10th May and we live in Quinta do Sol, near Hibiscus Gardens, Mata Serrao.

With a missing front leg I am not sure he would be able to survive in the wild for very long so if anyone has seen him since Thursday 10th then can they please let me know as soon as possible.

We all really miss him and would love to have him back.

Many thanks

quinta@quinta-do-paraiso.pt but if I were you, I'd pop in to reception and ask. As Hibiscus Gardens backs onto QdP, it could be a good place to look. If you take the first road into QdP (the one with the little green Tennis Courts sign) there's a really nice villa an the corner at the first turning left. It's owned by a really nice German/Dutch guy, who is always in his garden. It might be worth asking him. I know a lot of the full-timers on QdP often take in strays and there are a lot of cats that know where they can get a good meal.

We have seen the posters for this and another lost cat and hve been keeping our eyes open.
We now have a " guest " who takes over when ever we arrive, last time he walked through the gates within minutes of our arrival , we think he reads our email.
We have noticed a few more dogs roaming the streets and it could be that these cats have been frightened off and have been taken in by softies like us.

Thank you,

We do keep telling ourselves that he may be laying in someone elses kitchen right now - As he has only 3 legs he is very good at turning on the charm ...
