Can I post Images?
Images can indeed be shown in your posts. However, there is no facility at present for uploading images directly to this board. Therefore you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server, e.g. http://www.some-unknown-place.net/my-picture.gif. You cannot link to pictures stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor to images stored behind authentication mechanisms such as Hotmail or Yahoo mailboxes, password-protected sites, etc. To display the image use either the BBCode [img] tag or appropriate HTML (if allowed).

Uploading the images on cvo.com would slow down the page buildup and is therefore not supported.
You may may send picture material to Steen, webmaster@carvoeiro.com and he can put them up on the site (not forum).

Please people, notice the mark on the left BBCODE is on, click that and follow the options.
1 of them is: Adding an image to a post
phpBB BBCode incorporates a tag for including images in your posts. Two very important things to remember when using this tag are: many users do not appreciate lots of images being shown in posts and second, the image you display must already be available on the Internet (it cannot exist only on your computer, for example, unless you run a webserver!). There is currently no way of storing images locally with phpBB (all these issues are expected to be addressed in the next release of phpBB). To display an image, you must surround the URL pointing to the image with tags. For example:

As noted in the URL section above you can wrap an image in a tag if you wish, eg.
good luck!

sure, that will work, but I think it will appear as a link and not as the picture itself...digger wrote:......but G is it ok to do as Bleeker did: upload to another site then link to it.....if you know what I mean coz I'm not sure I do.....
Just out of curiosity, who can see the image in my signature? That is linked from another webpage too.
