Got an idea.... why not a pre- packaged Lunch, (made Fresh Daily, of course), for the:

Beach,

a Picnic,

a Road Trip,

to Take On The Train or Airplane,

or some Quiet Time (it happens) in your room?

Easy in, Easy Out....(or, as we say in Texas...No Muss, No Fuss).

(Shoot, given the right permits, you could run this from your villa with a push cart)

Convenience and fast service are not dirty words...especially with the Tourist Trade ( and CVO is a tourist town, like it or not)

....Hell, they even build ocean going ships for the tourist trade

Leave the Fine, Relaxed Dining to the locals...they do it better anyhow.

It's called "Niche Marketing".

I also totally agree with that. I was never going to try and compete with the locals because as you say, what they do, they do well.

But the packaging idea is not bad at all.

What about advertising picnic lunches? You could have a menu of picnic items and take orders 24 hours in advance. People would then pick these up on day of trip etc. I reckon this service would go down quite well

Good idea Dee W... Advertising is at the heart of this...otherwise, how would would the customers know we were there? Any ideas as to how to go about it?

(a 24hr. order costs more...if you want a cheaper deal, come and get it at the regular time)

I reckon this service would go down well, as would the lunches, too.
